This is a first. Released via Dancefloor Socialism on March 28th, 2k24 is "The Remixes EP" by Zark which marks the first time ever the mysterious figure behind Zarkon Recordings puts out a digital two track single on another label than his (or her) very own. With "10.2 *Atheist Remix" we're drawn straight to the heart of the dancefloor by a well fascinating amalgamation of stripped down, slightly metallic sci-fi percussions, huge reverberating bass drums and quite obvious DubTechno infusions which pave the way for the tunes ever repeating main motif whereas the subsequent "10.2 *Sascha Müller Peace Mix", our favorite cut on this one, indulges in an ever rolling, slightly TechTrance-infused Techno vision which surely will speak to fans and followers of labels like the legendary US-imprint Black Nation Records even though the remix evolves more towards a dreamy high quality AcidTrance vibe over the course of its runtime.
